We’re excited to announce the beta launch of our new offering: Secure WiFi by Adentro, a secure network being offered at merchant locations with the goal of providing more security for customers connecting to guest WiFi. With data privacy and security concerns at an all-time high, it’s more important than ever for merchants to be able to offer their customers a safe and dependable browsing experience.
In addition to delivering enterprise-level security, this new offering also features an optimized sign-on experience for your customers as well as increased visibility for you. After activating their profile to connect to the secure network, customers will no longer need to request access or authenticate again—the device will simply be recognized and automatically permitted to connect. This creates a seamless experience across the Adentro Network footprint and an overall better sign-on experience for users, all while protecting them with a secure network.
Additionally, this new offering also enhances customer visibility for you, our clients. In recent months, new changes to iOS and other devices have increased the frequency of MAC randomization. Shifting to the new secure network allows us to keep track of and recognize consumers at any Secure WiFi by Adentro location, making it easier for you to target your desired audience within the Adentro Network with advertisements.
At this time, we are activating Secure WiFi by Adentro in select locations based on compatibility but anticipate a full rollout throughout the remainder of this year.
